Control Xbox Power button via a remote control. Switch on/off your XBox console with an original Microsoft or universal remote control. The IR-Mod upgrade kit contains a PIC chip and an infrared receiver which allows you to send custom commands with the original Microsoft remote control to your XBox.

At present we have diagrams avaliable for board versions 1.0 through to 1.5. 

Require a Microsoft remote control (or with a compatible Universal Remote Control)

function keys:

• STOP. SELECT - This powers up the xbox.
• PAUSE. SELECT - Powers Xbox up with eject activated (from standby).
• PAUSE. PAUSE. SELECT - Closes draw (from standby).
• STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. SELECT - This powes the Xbox down.
• PAUSE. PAUSE. PAUSE. PAUSE. UP. SELECT - Reset machine (after 6 seconds)
