WODE Jukebox - Wii Optical Drive Emulator (USB Loader ) it's an exciting evolution of the Wii Modchip.
The Wode is a massive breakthrough in the Wii modchip industry.It can run homebrew type applications without the need to install the homebrew channel on your Wii.This means that it can never be blocked by nintendo updates! It will also allows you to load and play games directly off of a USB Mass Storage device. It is a USB Loader via hardware which means no issues with compatibility of games, no worrying about bricking your Wii, and no worrying about Wii updates. Since this emulates a Wii drive, essentially it should never be able to be blocked!

The WODE comes in two parts.
  1. The first part goes inside your Wii, just like traditional solderless modchips and attaches to the dvd drive board.( 100% Solderless Solution )
  2. The second part is an external base/docking station for you Wii. Built into this is a slave pcb with a LCD screen, USB and SD connections.(see image above)
WODE will include a Flatmod type mainboard that attaches (solderless) to the Wii drive cable similar to other available chips such as the Wasabi Dx and the Drivekey. It also comes with it's own vertical stand that harnesses a slave board with built-in LCD, USB, and SD slot. The SD card is used to house the powerful Linux-based WODE software. WODE will Play Wii & GameCube game ISOs direct from USB Mass Storage devices at 8X read speed.Unlike video games WODE behaves differently, WODE is a bridge interface between the data bus for Wii Dvd Drive and LINUX nothing more.

The idea was born from a car AUDI A5 car.
You wonder how a car has helped to develop WODE? The answer is the Jukebox Function of the Audi A5! Jukebox with 10 GB of memory for music files" The system of Audi MMI Navigation Plus allows you to insert a CD and transfer any audio to HDD, preserving the original audio CD and reading the content instead copied on Hard Disk without further problems.
We wondered if AUDI distributes its own MMI system which allows you to copy any audio disc onto HDD Why can’t we do the same with WII? The response has been WODE.

WODE is legal, allows you to take the most of your playground without BY PASSING DRM PROTECTION, it emulates in every way a DVD player including the DRM function which is not being by passed in anyway!

 WODE runs on a flexible and powerful Linux kernel, allowing the possibility for hundreds of exciting new applications,the possibilities are endless. The firmware of the product can be upgraded easily via an SD card. You drag the firmware on an SD card, put it in the SD card slot on the WODE, and turn the WODE on.

Because WODE is based on Linux, there are many applications that are already developed that just need to be tweaked for WODE hardware. One idea which is being developed for future release is the ability to load ISOs via WiFi.
