*Please note that all installation services and pre-mod consoles are fitted with warranty stickers, and if these are tampered with in any way all warrany on your unit will be void.

Pre-mod Units

Techwizad prides itself in its work and customer pre and after sales support. In this vain we now offer 12 month warranty on all of our pre-mod consoles effective from January 2007 (any units purchased before this would be covered under the previous 6 month warranty) this covers all parts and labour for any defect relating to the hardware or installation thereof. We will return postage costs incurred returning to us if your unit develops a fault within 7 days of dispatch. After this the customer would be responsible for postage to us, and return costs from us to a maximum of £12. 

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that their firmware is compatible with any future updates for their console and should be aware that from time to time new updates can affect the units.

Please note that for Xbox 360 Firmware upgrades Re-Flashing of units will be performed at a reduced rate for existing customers. Customers wishing to use our reflash service will need to include their original order number with their unit. Xbox Live is at customers own risk. We recommend using only your originals for this and warranty does not cover being banned on any console as the only use of backups is as protection of your original disc and therefore there is no reason why a customer should not use his original for live play.

Customers with Wii premods must ensure that their systems are compatible as an NTSC update can result in bricking the unit. i.e Super Paper Mario requires 2.2E firmware on a pal unit to enable update to play. Warranty does not include wrong updates applied.

Chip supply and Installation warranty

Techwizad offer 3 months warranty on our hardware and installation  services for any defect relating to the hardware or installation thereof. Please note that laser units on second hand consoles can not be covered as their age and condition are not guaranteed. We will return postage costs incurred returning to us if your unit develops a fault within 7 days of dispatch. After this the customer would be responsible for postage to us, to a maximum or £9.

Installation / Upgrade services

Techwizad offer 3 months warranty on any faults arising as a direct result of the installation of your hardware into your unit. Please note that laser units on second hand consoles can not be covered as their age and condition are not guaranteed, and problems relating to the customers own hardware would not be covered. We will return postage costs incurred returning to us if your unit develops a fault within 7 days of dispatch. After this the customer would be responsible for postage to us, to a maximum of £9.

All Accessories, peripherals & Hardware

Techwizad cover all of our items for a period of 6 months. If you receive your purchase and wish to return, unopened, for any reason we will refund your purchase in full upon receipt of your return less original postage costs.

If your item is defective in any way we will have your product independently tested and will replace your item or refund the full purchase price inclusive of postage costs.

Any variation to warranty information will be displayed on the product page of an item.

**Please note that products lost in transit will be claimed against postal insurance and we strongly recommend customers select a postal service with appropriate cover for their purchase when shipping the console to us
