On the back of your Wii is a serial number starting LEH (for European consoles) Refer to the chart below to see what wii chip is suitable for you.
LEH100xxx - LEH134xxx (DMS, D2A & D2B chipset) Compatible Chips = Cyclo Wiz, Wiikey, D2Pro V2 or Wasabi V2
LEH135xxx - LEH182xxx(D2C chipset) Compatible Chips = D2Pro, D2Pro V2 or Wasabi V2
LEH182xxx - LEH199 (D2C2 chipset) Compatible Chips = Wasabi V2 or D2Pro V2
An LEH above 20xxx more than likely means you have a D2E chipset = Wasabi V3 D2E
The Wasabi V2 and D2Pro V2 are compatible with every Wii console up to and including the new D2C2 drive chipset that started to appear during May 2008.
The Wasabi V3 is compatible with all Wii consoles including the latest D2E drives that have started to appear in the UK.
